The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ramokgadi to score with a decent uppercut.
Johnson misses with an uppercut.

Johnson pushes Ramokgadi up against the ropes in a clinch.
Ramokgadi is looking to control Johnson's arms but Johnson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ramokgadi has his back to the ropes.
Ramokgadi struggles to land a body shot inside as Johnson controls his hands.
Ramokgadi lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Ramokgadi breaks from the clinch.
Ramokgadi tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
Ramokgadi throws a big shot that misses.
Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Ramokgadi has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Ramokgadi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Ramokgadi lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ramokgadi is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

and Johnson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Ramokgadi gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ramokgadi was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson.
Douglas Ramokgadi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramokgadi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice straight punches there by Johnson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Johnson.

and Johnson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Ramokgadi get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Ramokgadi stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the ropes but Johnson runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
