Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kermodian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric LaFleche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kermodian kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum. Mark Kermodian could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eric LaFleche's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kermodian had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. LaFleche is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kermodian Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take LaFleche's back instead.
LaFleche looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Kermodian lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Kermodian.
LaFleche covering up well and avoiding damage.
Kermodian has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of LaFleche's body.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kermodian is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kermodian is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
