The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez tries to clinch there but Bam circles away.

Bam gets a takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Bam.
Fernandez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fernandez is trying to stand up here but Bam is controlling him well.
Bam thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fernandez's head.
Fernandez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Fernandez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bam scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fernandez is trying to control but can't.
Bam missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bam winds up and cracks Fernandez with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Bam is nestled in close to Fernandez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bam lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Fernandez! More strikes land and this one is all over! Bam jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
