Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Goliathov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Ferr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anton Goliathov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Ferr!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferr doesn't manage to clinch there - Goliathov circles away.
Goliathov sizes up Ferr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Goliathov lands a jab.
Goliathov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ferr throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Goliathov counters with a one-two to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goliathov closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Anton Goliathov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goliathov pinned against the cage. Goliathov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Goliathov checks the leg kick.
Ferr on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Goliathov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferr but Ferr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Goliathov dodges the punch combination from Ferr.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goliathov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ferr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Ferr clinches with his opponent.
Ferr looking to stall.
Ferr is pressed up against the cage. Goliathov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ferr down to the mat. Ferr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Goliathov scores with a one two! Ferr had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Goliathov's corner calls for a 1-2. Goliathov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ferr wants to clinch
and Goliathov counters with a stiff right hand.
Goliathov drops Ferr with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Ferr! Goliathov dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anton Goliathov!
