The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Sanchez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Maynard. Maynard obviously looking to wear him down.
Maynard lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sanchez takes a step back to recover.
Maynard slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanchez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oooooh!!! Maynard has knocked Sanchez down with a huge combo! Maynard steps away and waves a wobbly Sanchez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Pedro Sanchez has been cut.
Maynard and Sanchez are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Maynard throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Sanchez into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Maynard knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
