Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luck Chiddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Las Vegas Baby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luck Chiddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Las Vegas Baby!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiddell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Chiddell in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Chiddell tries to advance position but instead Vegas Baby slips a leg back in to half guard.
Vegas Baby tries to get to full guard but Chiddell has control of the leg.
Chiddell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vegas Baby does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Vegas Baby makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vegas Baby.
Chiddell tries to free his leg and advance position but Vegas Baby is retaining full guard.
Chiddell has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vegas Baby to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Chiddell is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vegas Baby pulls down on the head and he's put Chiddell to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Las Vegas Baby!
