The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knobbs fails to land the takedown.
Knobbs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hieron as he avoids it easily.
A combination from Hieron does no damage.
Knobbs really is a fat lump.
Hieron fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hieron scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Hieron clinches.
Hieron digs a right hand into Knobbs's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Knobbs's gas tank.
Hieron stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Hieron softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Knobbs tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamie Knobbs. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hieron breaks from the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Knobbs shoots in looking for a takedown. Hieron tries to sprawl out of it but Knobbs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hieron manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Knobbs dodges the punch combination from Hieron.

Hieron closes the distance and clinches.
Hieron makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hieron lands a shoulder strike.

Hieron throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Knobbss head.

Knobbs tries to circle away but Hieron has him pinned against the cage.

Hieron pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hieron goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hieron lands a really nice looking cross but Knobbs seems unphased.
Hieron lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hieron.
Hieron wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hieron rushes Knobbs and presses him up against the cage.
Knobbs stalling in the clinch but Hieron improves position.
Hieron lands with a left to the head.

Knobbs is rocked!
Knobbs is breathing heavily.
Hieron throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Knobbss head.
Oh Knobbs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hieron lands a big right hand that drops Knobbs! The killer instinct kicks in and Hieron finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Hieron!

After the fight, Derrick Hieron was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
