The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andersen tries to avoid it but Adams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andersen to the ground. Andersen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andersen throws a series of strikes that have Adams backpedaling.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Adams wants to clinch up but Andersen keeps it at a distance.

and Andersen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Adams is trying to control the position but Andersen postures up.

Adams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Andersen is sitting in close to Adams's body. Adams has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Andersen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Andersen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Adams.
