The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinkin looks to score with a jab to the body but Rection is just out of range.
Rection throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dinkin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice jab there from Dinkin.
Dinkin keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Dinkin scores with a sloppy right hand. Rection should have avoided that one.
Dinkin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rection.
Dinkin thuds a left hand into Rection's body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dinkin lands a nice hook to Rection's body. Rection takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rection is breathing heavily.
Rection tries to close the distance and clinch but Dinkin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dinkin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A jab from Dinkin finds it's way through Rection's defenses.
Dinkin lands with a nice body punch.
Dinkin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dinkin lands a nice hook to Rection's body. Rection takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dinkin is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rection rather than just go for the knockout.

Dinkin drops Rection with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rection looks back up at him and smiles so Dinkin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rection is rocked!

It looks like Hugh G Rection has been cut.
Dinkin connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Rection covering up! Dinkin comes in with a big uppercut and Rection goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ramses Dinkin!
