PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perle De Lait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CM Punk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punk is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by CULT OF PERSONALITY. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Lait rushes Punk and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A hook to the body from De Lait.
De Lait lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Punk.
Punk looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Punk is looking to take this one to the mat.
A left hand lands to the body for De Lait.
De Lait lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
De Lait stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Punk is trying to break free.
De Lait presses Punk against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
De Lait lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
De Lait gets through Punk's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
De Lait lands a body shot.
A short body shot lands from De Lait as the two fighters clinch.
De Lait stalling.
De Lait lands a body punch.
De Lait lands a shot to the body.
De Lait avoiding damage.

Punk's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A nice left hand lands by De Lait.
De Lait stalling the fight.
Punk can't break the clinch.
De Lait misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A short uppercut from De Lait.
Punk is looking for a takedown up against the cage. De Lait gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
De Lait cracks Punk with a nice body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De Lait lands a body shot in the clinch.
A short right from De Lait.
A right hook to the body lands for De Lait.
De Lait throws a big uppercut that drops Punk! More strikes from De Lait and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Punk lies dazed against the cage as De Lait celebrates with his cornermen!
