The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirkiä scores with a nice right hand.
Sirkiä throws a hook to the side of Gutzeit's head but Gutzeit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice defenses there by Gutzeit.
Sirkiä throws an overhand right that lands on Gutzeit's shoulder, as Gutzeit tries to avoid the shot.
Sirkiä getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Sirkiä dives in and scores a takedown into Gutzeit's guard.
Sirkiä throwing strikes from guard but Gutzeit blocks nicely.
Gutzeit is trying to control the position but Sirkiä postures up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gutzeit holds on and takes a little breather.

Sirkiä throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gutzeit works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sirkiä accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gutzeit is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sirkiä wants to get back to full guard.
Gutzeit is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sirkiä is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
