The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hominick looks to land a combination but Davies avoids it well.
Hominick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hominick wants it to stay on the feet.
Davies misses with a takedown attempt - Hominick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hominick dodges the punch combination from Davies.

Davies tries for a takedown but Hominick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

George Hominick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hominick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davies manages to avoid it.

Davies closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Davies wants to control but Hominick is keeping him busy.

Hominick kicks Davies off and gets back to his feet.

George Hominick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hominick throws a nice looking combination but Davies bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hominick feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Daviess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Davies works over Hominick's head and body with a nice combination.

Davies lands the left hand.
Hominick is still on wobbly legs! Can Davies finish him?
Davies lands with a right hand.
Davies steps in with a hook that catches Hominick right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Davies follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hominick looks absolutely devastated.
