Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garcia Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhelyazko Velilkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vega might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pretty in Pink. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Garcia Vega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zhelyazko Velilkov!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega throws a jab when Velilkov was well out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vega is defended easily by Velilkov.
Vega lands an overhand right.
Velilkov moves into the clinch.
Velilkov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Velilkov dives in and grabs Vega's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vega pushes down on Velilkov's head and hops out.
Vega fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Velilkov manages to avoid it.
Velilkov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Velilkov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The referee calls for Velilkov to work.
Vega tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Vega wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Velilkov just leaning against Vega, taking a breather.
Vega misses with a short punch on the inside.
Velilkov has Vega pressed against the cage.
Vega swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Vega goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Vega throws a punch but it's blocked by Velilkov.
Velilkov stalls.
Vega misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
The crowd are getting on Velilkov's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Zhelyazko Velilkov.
Velilkov moves into the clinch successfully.
Vega struggles to land a body shot inside as Velilkov controls his hands.
Vega tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Velilkov's elbow.
Vega being controlled against the cage.
Vega is looking to break free of the clinch but Velilkov has double underhooks.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Velilkov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Velilkov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Velilkov tries for a kimura but Vega is defending well.
Vega struggling a bit here.
Velilkov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vega is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Velilkov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Vega has escaped the position, nice work there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Velilkov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Vega rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Velilkov's guard! Nice work there by Vega!
Velilkov has his foot on Vega's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vega works his way back into a safe position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Velilkov looking for a triangle here. Vega is fighting it but it looks tight! Velilkov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Vega is tapping out - this one is all over!
