Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darth Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Grisham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darth Vader had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darth Vader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Grisham!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader tries to clinch up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vader is defended easily by Grisham.
A right-left combo lands from Grisham.
It looks like Darth Vader has been cut.
Grisham forces Vader back against the cage and clinches.
Vader decides to pull guard.
Grisham is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Vader is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grisham advances to half guard.
Vader has hold of Grisham's hands but Grisham slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vader moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Grisham missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Grisham not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grisham advances to half guard.
Grisham not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Grisham thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vader's head.
Grisham stops Vader from getting back to his feet.
Vader is breathing heavily.
Grisham is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vader has managed to free his arm - good work.
Grisham scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Vader knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grisham on the ground.
Grisham is thwarting Vader's attempts to control the position.
Well, if Grisham is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Grisham throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Grisham is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Vader tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Grisham manages to move to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grisham controlling from mount.
Vader is in a horrible position here. Grisham smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee warns Vader that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Grisham looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grisham postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Vader badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Grisham around the waist but Grisham pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Grisham is the winner by TKO! Grisham jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Grisham!
