The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Bulokov is trying to break the clinch but Hooker has him pressed against the cage.
Hooker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bulokov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hooker's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bulokov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hooker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bulokov is not content to let Hooker control the position.
Bulokov is trying to maintain the position but Hooker is very close to passing his half guard.

Hooker tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Hooker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hooker is working for a submission of some sort.
Hooker in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bulokov tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hooker!
