Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dhynho Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt.
Oliveira stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oliveira wants it to stay on the feet.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Calderon as he avoids it easily.

Calderon has managed to clinch.
Oliveira is trying to break free.
Oliveira tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Calderon smiles and moves away.
Oliveira closes the distance but Calderon moves to the side
and Calderon counters with a two punch combo.

Calderon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Oliveira is trying to pull guard but Calderon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Oliveira tries to pull guard but Calderon holds him up against the cage and eventually Oliveira drops back down to his feet.

Oliveira has Calderon pressed against the cage, preventing Calderon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Calderon breaks from the clinch.
Calderon throws a right and a left that Oliveira avoids nicely.

Oliveira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Calderon to the mat! Calderon manages to get full guard.
Calderon wants to stand up but Oliveira is controlling him.
Oliveira is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Calderon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oliveira on the ground.

Dhynho Oliveira has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Calderon swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Calderon clinches up against the cage.
Oliveira is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Oliveira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oliveira misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Calderon closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Oliveira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Oliveira just misses with a punch to the body.

Calderon takes the fight into the clinch.

Oliveira escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Oliveira.
Calderon wants to get back to his feet but Oliveira drags him back down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oliveira scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Calderon to see if he's OK.
Calderon is letting Oliveira control him for a moment.

Oliveira stands up and we're back to a striking position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oliveira is looking to clinch but Calderon is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dhynho Oliveira will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt.
Calderon lands a jab-cross combination.
Calderon blocks a head kick by Oliveira.
Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Calderon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Oliveira closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Calderon did well to prevent Oliveira getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliveira takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Oliveira is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Calderon with him. Calderon is trying to defend but Oliveira has an arm under the chin now! Calderon grimaces and is forced to tap out!
