The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragic loads up on a big right hand but Denton slips the punch.
Dragic chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dragic throws a series of punches but Denton avoids them all with ease.
Dragic with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Dragan Dragic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Denton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dragic.
Dragic lands a big right hand that sends Denton crashing to the mat! Dragic stays standing though and waves Denton back to his feet!
It looks like Jc Denton has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Denton thows a body shot but no joy.
Dragic connects with a body shot that sends Denton's belly button to the back.
Denton is breathing heavily.
Dragic drops Denton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Denton looks back up at him and smiles so Dragic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Denton is rocked!
Dragic connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Denton out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Dragan Dragic is the new heavyweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Dragan Dragic started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
