Gump looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bortman is fending him off so far but Gump persists. Nope, Bortman circles away and we're back to standing.

Fowwest Gump's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Gump shoots for a double leg takedown but Bortman sprawls well. He's pushed Gump's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bortman clobbers Gump with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fowwest Gump's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Alex Bortman thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
