Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power has chosen Fabolous, 50cent, Mase - Breathe Remix as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Max Power was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Power!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Marsh. Power does a little dance to reset his feet.
Marsh blocks a head kick by Power.
Marsh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Power defends it nicely.
Power throws a head kick that misses.
Marsh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Marsh thuds a left hand into Power's body.
Marsh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Power just misses with a punch to the body.
Power ducks under a wild hook from Marsh.
Power throws out a loose jab but Marsh uses good head movement to avoid it.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Marsh.

Marsh misses with a takedown attempt - Power sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Marsh counters with a nice uppercut.
Power changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

and Power counters with a low kick, right behind Marsh 's knee.
Marsh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Power.
Marsh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Power swivels and escapes.

Marsh just misses with a punch to the body.

Marsh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Power's guard.
Power seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Marsh postures up.
Marsh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Power pulls Marsh in close to his closed guard and prevents Marsh from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Max Power wasn't active enough on the ground.
Power tries to clinch up but Marsh circles away and keeps his distance.

The fighters circling - Marsh throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Marsh shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Power cracks Marsh with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Marsh looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Power finish him?

Marsh is rocked!

It looks like Randy Marsh has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marsh throws a lazy right hand but Power sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Oh Marsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marsh walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Power swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Max Power!
Our winner, Max Power, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
