Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pauly Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nobu Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pauly Dee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nobu Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee throws an off balance right hand

and Murphy counters with a single leg into guard. Dee didn't expect that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Dee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Murphy defends well.

Dee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murphy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dee doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murphy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dee wants to stand and escape but Murphy is having none of it.

Dee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Murphy shoots in looking for a takedown. Dee tries to sprawl out of it but Murphy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Murphy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Murphy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dee keeps working.
Well, if Murphy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Murphy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Murphy is working to tighten is grip on Dee's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dee has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Murphy is really squeezing tight and eventually Dee passes out! Murphy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
