Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zane Stanley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Matador!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley slips a jab from Matador.
Stanley scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Stanley throws a head kick that misses.
Matador is looking to clinch.
Matador fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Stanley is out of range.
Stanley throws a right and a left that both miss.

Matador shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Stanley keeping moving, preventing Matador from controlling successfully.
Stanley preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Matador has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Matador content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Matador controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Stanley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matador on the ground.
Matador trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Matador slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Stanley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Matador working the ground and pound but Stanley is defending the strikes.

Matador tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Stanley parries the strikes from Matador easily there. Matador is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stanley to escape.
Matador misses with the ground and pound.

Matador fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Matador working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Matador takes a little break here. Stanley wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Matador in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Stanley is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
