Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harvi Kalaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Platinum Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalaso comes to the cage accompanied by shut em down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalaso clinches with his opponent.
Kalaso gets through Gold's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kalaso works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gold seems keen to control Kalaso's posture.
Gold trying to keep a closed guard but Kalaso is proving a slippery customer.
Kalaso passes Gold's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kalaso seems to be looking for submissions.
Gold is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kalaso perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Kalaso passes the guard and advances to mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kalaso is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gold to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gold shrugs it off.
Kalaso manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gold to take his back!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Gold trying to get back to his feet but Kalaso is in full control for now.
Gold covers up after that shot from Kalaso.
Kalaso is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
