The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egill plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Egill throws a right and a left that Karzai avoids nicely.
Karzai closes the distance but Egill moves to the side
and Egill cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Egill throws a series of punches but Karzai moves out of range.
Karzai closes the distance and clinches up with Egill, looking for a takedown. Karzai pushes Egill against the cage but Egill circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Egill counters with a head kick that drops Karzai to the mat! Karzai scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Karzai is rocked!
Egill pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karzai is still on wobbly legs! Can Egill finish him?
Egill throws a powerful right kick. Karzai tried to block low but the kick was high! Karzai was taken right off of his feet! Egill jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
