Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Motorhead-Killed by death. Assis has chosen Falling Slowly as his entrance music. Kimbo Assis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Steve Austin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kimbo Assis!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assis dives in and grabs Austin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Austin pushes down on Assis's head and hops out.
Austin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Assis on the side of the head.
Austin leaves Assis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Assis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Assis feints and as Austin raises his hands in defense, Assis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Assis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Austin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Assis scrambles back to his feet.
