PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vegeta SSJ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gracie Ibarra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Vegeta SSJ has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vegeta SSJ seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ibarra.
SSJ looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
SSJ pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ibarra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts SSJ as he jumps to the side.
Ibarra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but SSJ swivels and escapes.
Vegeta SSJ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gracie Ibarra.
Ibarra shoots in looking for a takedown. SSJ tries to sprawl out of it but Ibarra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. SSJ manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ibarra tries for a takedown but SSJ sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
SSJ pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ibarra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

SSJ throws a head kick but Ibarra moves out of range.
Ibarra tries to close the distance and clinch up but SSJ swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ibarra is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ibarra closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Ibarra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. SSJ doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ibarra is tightening it up a little... SSJ has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! SSJ reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! SSJ taps out! nice BJJ there by Ibarra!
