Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zsolt Erdei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RJ Cast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erdei's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Funktasztikus feat Animal Cannibals - PMLB 2008. RJ Cast will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cast throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Erdei sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cast swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Erdei has Cast up against the cage in a clinch.
Erdei tries to land a knee to the head but Cast blocks with his arms.
Cast misses with a short punch on the inside.
Cast is trying to maintain a safe position but Erdei gets an underhook and turns Cast into the cage.
Cast throws a punch but it's blocked by Erdei.

Cast throws a hook to the side of Erdei's head but Erdei sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cast looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Erdei is fending him off so far but Cast persists. Nope, Erdei circles away and we're back to standing.

Erdei feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Erdei wants to pass the guard but Cast is keeping the position.
Erdei seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Erdei manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Erdei can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cast is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A nice elbow there by Erdei.
Erdei swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cast is now in Erdei's guard. A big mistake from Erdei there, giving up the dominant position!
Cast looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Let's hope that Cast has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Cast wants to get up but he can't break Erdei's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
