Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eagles stuffs the takedown.
Brandon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Greg Eagles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Eagles moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Eagles fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Brandon looks to land a combination but Eagles avoids it well.
Horrible takedown by Brandon or perhaps it was just good defense by Eagles which made him look bad.

Eagles is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Eagles's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Eagles has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brandon wants to get back to his feet but Eagles is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
