Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fender catches Nara with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cpl. Sam Fender seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nara tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fender swivels and escapes.
Nara misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fender.
Nara shoots in looking for a takedown but Fender manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nara's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fender looks to score with a jab to the body but Nara is just out of range.
Nara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fender misses with a low kick as Nara jumps back.
Nara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fender stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A jab from Nara finds it's way through Fender's defenses.
Nara on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Say Nara has been cut.
Fender tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fender throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nara on the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fender uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nara.
Fender bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nara's head.

Fender scores with a leg kick.
Fender fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fender lands with a kick to the temple. Nara shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fender tries to land a leg kick but Nara saw it coming and moves away.
Fender is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Nara is looking to score with low kicks.
Nara looks to land a left hand but Fender moved out of range nicely.

Nara throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fender tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nara is in Fender's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nara must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fender manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nara reaches up and holds on to Fender to control the position.
Nara tries to lock up and control but Fender gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Nara tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fender can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nara is looking to escape.
Nara is in all sorts of trouble here.

Fender unloads with some shots from mount but Nara bucks and avoids them well.
Nara tries to hold on but Fender pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nara bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nara wants to control from the top but Fender keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Cpl. Sam Fender will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Say Nara's cut.
That's time! Fender's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fender looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Nara rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fender counters with an inside leg kick.
Fender uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nara.
Fender scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

That has opened up Say Nara's cut even more.
Fender fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nara misses with a straight right.

Nara shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nara works his way into full mount!

Nara cracks Fender with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Nara misses with some ground and pound and Fender recovers position to half guard.
Fender is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fender is looking for a sweep. Nara is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nara looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fender regains full guard. Nicely done.
Nara trying to control the position from guard on top but Fender is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nara is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Nara content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Fender has locked up a guillotine! Fender's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Nara is holding on here and Fender must be using up a lot of energy. Nara has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Fender gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
