Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Herald Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke the Fire!!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor looks to land a combination but Zedong avoids it well.
Zedong fails with the takedown

and Taylor moves into the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Taylor.

Taylor decides to pull guard.

Taylor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zedong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Zedong throws a big elbow that misses.
Zedong advances position into side control!
Taylor is not content to let Zedong control the position.

Zedong stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Zedong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Taylor's calf.
Zedong scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Zedong misses with a takedown attempt - Taylor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Taylor dips to his left and cracks Zedong with an uppercut!
Taylor thows a leg kick but Zedong checks it

and Zedong counters with a shoot takedown. Taylor fights it but they end up in guard.
Taylor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zedong is controlling him.
Zedong throwing strikes from guard but Taylor blocks nicely.
Zedong stays in close to Taylor's body and controls the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taylor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Taylor lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Taylor is thwarting Zedong's attempts to control the position.
Zedong makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zedong.
Taylor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Zedong is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Taylor rolls with it to try and escape but Zedong cranks on the arm and Taylor is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
