The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randell misses with a kick to the body
and Rovanpera makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Randell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rovanpera throws out the jab.
Randell blocks a low kick nicely.
Randell misses with a hook. Rovanpera ducked under it nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Randell, as that shot connected.
Rovanpera swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Randell blocks a head kick by Rovanpera.
Rovanpera slips a jab and a cross from Randell.
Randell lands a jab.
Rovanpera throws a sloppy head kick and Randell moves out of range easily.
Rovanpera takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Seppo Rovanpera has been cut.
Randell moves out of range of the body kick from Rovanpera.
Rovanpera throws a body punch but Randell moves out of range.
Radon Randell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Randell pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rovanpera is out of range and Randell settles back down.

Rovanpera scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Randell is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Randell is refusing to be controlled, as Rovanpera sits in half guard.
Rovanpera prevents Randell from standing back up.
Randell is trying to maintain the position but Rovanpera is very close to passing his half guard.
Randell is not content to let Rovanpera control the position.
Randell regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Rovanpera.

Randell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Randell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rovanpera.
Rovanpera takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rovanpera throws a hook but Randell avoids it easily.
Randell scores with a sloppy right hand. Rovanpera should have avoided that one.
Rovanpera looks to land a right hand but Randell moved out of range.
Rovanpera lands a nice looking kick to the body. Randell takes a step back to recover.
Rovanpera tries to close the distance and clinch up but Randell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rovanpera throws out a loose jab but Randell uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rovanpera swings for the body but Randell moves out of range.

and Rovanpera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Rovanpera punishes Randell's body with a nice straight punch.
A swing and a miss from Rovanpera.
Rovanpera looks to score with a jab to the body but Randell is just out of range.
Randell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rovanpera throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rovanpera takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rovanpera is looking to clinch.
Randell staying out of range there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Randell. Rovanpera does a little dance to reset his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rovanpera thuds his right hand into Randell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Randell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Randell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Randell counters with a nice uppercut.

Randell shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Rovanpera takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Randell sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Rovanpera bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

A relieved looking Radon Randell thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
