The crowd seem to be enjoying Slim's choice of entrance music: Jammin- Bob Marley. Barbados Slim acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc Nothing tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Slim manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Slim keeps the fight on the outside.

and Slim counters with a left and a right that stings Mc Nothing.

Jerry Mc Nothing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mc Nothing as he avoids it easily.
Slim shoots in looking for a takedown. Mc Nothing tries to sprawl out of it but Slim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mc Nothing manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mc Nothing is looking to clinch.
Mc Nothing tries to close the distance and clinch up but Slim swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Slim dives in and scores a takedown into Mc Nothing's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Slim passes Mc Nothing's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Slim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mc Nothing is looking to control Slim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mc Nothing avoid being mounted?

Slim in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mc Nothing tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Slim!
