Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Landon Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Landon Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa tries a head kick but it misses.
Green takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Barbosa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barbosa wants it to stay on the feet.

and Green counters with a left to the body.
Barbosa thumps Green with a low kick.
Barbosa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barbosa ducks right into an uppercut from Green.

Barbosa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Green to the ground. Barbosa is now in Green's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barbosa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Barbosa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Green working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barbosa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barbosa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barbosa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hector Barbosa dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Barbosa is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Green's half guard.

Green wants to improve his position but Barbosa is controlling well.
Barbosa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
