PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mak Frajd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mak Frajd had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Mak Frajd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frajd shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bob looking for a sweep. Not yet Bob, not yet.
Bob is trying to control the position but Frajd postures up.
Frajd is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Frajd is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Frajd is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bob is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bob has escaped and now he's on top!

Bob stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Bob drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Frajd on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Frajd tries to get out of the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bob got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frajd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bob has managed to get both his arms back between Frajd's legs - danger averted.

Bob is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Frajd has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bob is looking to defend but Frajd has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bob! Frajd pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bob taps out and this one is all over!
