Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugh Jass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Himekawa Kanzaki!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanzaki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jass shoots for a double leg takedown but Kanzaki sprawls well. He's pushed Jass's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jass doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kanzaki counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kanzaki tries to clinch up.
Kanzaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kanzaki has Jass up against the ropes in a clinch.

Jass gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kanzaki regains guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jass pushing down on Kanzaki's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Jass seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kanzaki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kanzaki looks like he's trying to stand up.
Still in half guard, Jass seems content to control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kanzaki wants to get back to his feet.

Jass stands up from half guard.
Kanzaki tries to clinch up
and Jass counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Kanzaki! This one is all over!
