Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonnie Boardwalk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergiy Sklyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sklyar has chosen Scarface - No Tears as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergiy Sklyar!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sklyar misses with a two punch combination.
Boardwalk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sklyar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sklyar thuds his right hand into Boardwalk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Sklyar throws a leg kick which misses Boardwalk's front leg but catches the back leg as Boardwalk tries to avoid it.

Sklyar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Boardwalk swings for the body but Sklyar moves out of range.

Boardwalk ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sklyar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boardwalk defends it nicely.
Boardwalk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sklyar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boardwalk somewhat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sergiy Sklyar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
