Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tashiro throws a series of punches but Satake avoids them all with ease.

Satake shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Satake lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tashiro hang on?

Tashiro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Satake takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Satake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Satake is landing with some decent strikes but Tashiro is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Satake seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tashiro for as long as he can get away with.

Tashiro tries to lock up and control but Satake gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Satake tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Tashiro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Satake connects with a looping right hand.
Satake works over Tashiro's head and body with a nice combination.
Misaaki Satake is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Satake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tashiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Satake swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kazunari Tashiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tashiro gets underhooks to prevent Satake's takedown attempt.
Satake drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tashiro gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Satake is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tashiro is defending well.

Tashiro is trying to trip Satake. He has hold of a leg but Satake is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tashiro persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Misaaki Satake overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Satake has his feet on Tashiro's thighs here. He's pushed Tashiro off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Tashiro screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
