Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jin Kwon!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwon throws a series of punches but Callahan moves out of range.
Kwon dodges the punch combination from Callahan.
Callahan tries to clinch up but Kwon circles away and keeps his distance.
Callahan lands with a nice body kick.
Callahan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Callahan throws a nice inside leg kick.
Callahan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Callahan throws a shot from downtown. Kwon moves away and avoids it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Kwon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Thomas Callahan will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jin Kwon's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Callahan throws a low kick, looking for Kwon's leg but Kwon calmly moves out of range.

Callahan lands with an uppercut that bounces Kwon off the cage and back into range.
Callahan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kwon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Callahan circles away quickly and effectively.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thomas Callahan.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Callahan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
