The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyril throws a sloppy head kick and Surfer moves out of range easily.
Surfer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Surfer counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Surfer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kyril swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kyril does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Surfer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Surfer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kyril was well out of range. Poor timing from Surfer.
Kyril wants to slow Surfer down by chopping away at his legs.
