Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damien Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sativa Sensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maya comes to the ring accompanied by The Omen. Sensei has chosen Stevie Ray - Pride and Joy as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Sativa Sensei enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maya tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sensei swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Maya lands a right hook to the body.
Maya takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sensei looks to score with a jab to the body but Maya is just out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sensei. Maya shrugs it off though.
Sensei misses with an attempted mid kick.

Both fighters circling a little - Maya finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Maya fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sensei has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Maya is looking to take a break and control but Sensei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sensei is looking to control Maya's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sensei avoid being mounted?
Maya is just content to waste time from the top position. Sensei takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
