Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Conroy Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyril Zakharov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blevins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is she thinks my tractor is sexy. Zakharov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Russian National Anthem. Cyril Zakharov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Conroy Blevins's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Blevins counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Blevins is trying to trip Zakharov. He has hold of a leg but Zakharov is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Blevins persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Blevins shoots in and bounces Zakharov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blevins slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Blevins feints and as Zakharov raises his hands in defense, Blevins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Zakharov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blevins pinned against the cage. Blevins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Zakharov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Zakharov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blevins but Blevins pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Horrible takedown by Zakharov or perhaps it was just good defense by Blevins which made him look bad.

Blevins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zakharov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Blevins is in Zakharov's guard.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Zakharov looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Blevins! Submission of the night perhaps?
