Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sir Lancelot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Farrel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farrel has chosen Chemical Brothers Block Rockin Beats as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancelot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Farrel is fending him off so far but Lancelot persists. Nope, Farrel circles away and we're back to standing.
Farrel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Farrel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Lancelot counters with a single leg into guard. Farrel didn't expect that.

Farrel is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lancelot tries to score a body lock takedown but Farrel shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The referee calls for Lancelot to work.
Farrel has had enough of the clinch but Lancelot keeps him there for the moment.

Farrel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Farrel does no damage.
Farrel throws a nice looking combination but Lancelot bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Farrel throws a series of punches but Lancelot avoids them all with ease.
Farrel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lancelot counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Farrel wants to clinch but Lancelot slips to the side

and Lancelot counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lancelot wants to control from the top but Farrel keeps moving.

Lancelot throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Farrel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lancelot is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lancelot won't allow Farrel to sweep him here.

Farrel had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lancelot is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Farrel Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lancelot's back instead.
I really don't envy Lancelot right now.

Farrel has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lancelot has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Farrel looks gassed!

Lancelot is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Farrel gets his way!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Farrel is trying to stick to Lancelot's back but Lancelot is turning into Farrel. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Farrel's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lancelot.

Lancelot stands up over Farrel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lancelot drives through and clinches with Farrel against the cage.

Lancelot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lancelot closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lancelot lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lancelot is looking to stand up but Farrel won't let him.
Lancelot loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Farrel wants to stand and escape but Lancelot is having none of it.

Farrel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lancelot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lancelot looking to sit in guard and control but Farrel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Farrel slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Lancelot is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Farrel off and has taken his back!
Farrel can't escape the position.

Lancelot is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Lancelot lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
You can see the frustration on Farrel's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Lancelot is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Farrel. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Lancelot keeps control of the position easily here as Farrel tries to buck him off.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lancelot sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Farrel's guard.
Farrel tries to roll over but Lancelot keeps him under control.
Farrel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lancelot is working away from the top position though.
Farrel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Farrel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lancelot bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Farrel is breathing heavily.

Lancelot postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Farrel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lancelot, into his guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lancelot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lancelot is looking to take a break and control but Farrel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Farrel tries to get to full guard but Lancelot has control of the leg.
Lancelot wants to take a breather but Farrel is having none of it.
Farrel avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lancelot.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Sir Lancelot showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lancelot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
