The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giordano misses with a series of wild punches.
Giordano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gumbi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Giordano displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Gumbi misses the jab.
Giordano misses with a few strikes there.
Giordano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gumbi thows a body shot but no joy.
Giordano throws a right and a left that Gumbi avoids nicely.
Gumbi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Giordano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gumbi throws out the jab.
Giordano misses with a double jab.
Giordano uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gumbi.
Gumbi throws a push kick but Giordano slaps the foot to one side.
Giordano is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Gumbi throws a hook but Giordano blocks it.

Gumbi lands a big right hand that sends Giordano crashing to the mat! Gumbi stays standing though and waves Giordano back to his feet!

It looks like Leonardo Giordano has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Giordano takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Oh Giordano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Giordano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
