Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mac Readen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urijah Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
Readen throws a big shot that misses.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Readen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Readen's back instead.

Readen is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Mac Readen will probably get the nod.

Readen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
