Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales shoots in looking for a takedown. Boyd tries to sprawl out of it but Gonzales keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boyd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gonzales takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boyd clobbers Gonzales with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Boyd closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gonzales to the mat! Gonzales manages to get full guard.

Boyd drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boyd jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gonzales escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boyd gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gonzales throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Boyd escapes and throws Gonzales's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Gonzales is still in real trouble! Can Boyd finish him?
Gonzales is trying to escape the position but Boyd is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyd lands an elbow.
Boyd cracks Gonzales with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Boyd immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Gonzales is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Boyd!
