Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Whooping Mianus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Almas Mustafin!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustafin tries for a takedown but Mianus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mustafin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mianus looks to clinch
and Mustafin counters with a shoot takedown. Mianus fights it but they end up in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mianus trying to strike off his back.
Mianus controlling the position.
Mustafin trying to control but Mianus is working from the bottom.
Mustafin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Almas Mustafin was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Mianus wants to clinch up but Mustafin keeps it at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mustafin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mianus's shoulder. That is not cool.

Mustafin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Mustafin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Mianus is not content to let Mustafin control the position.
Mianus won't allow Mustafin to pass to mount.
Mustafin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mianus's head.
Mustafin decides to stand up.
Mianus tries to clinch up.
Mustafin shoots in for a takedown but Mianus shows good takedown defense.
Whooping Mianus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Almas Mustafin.

Mianus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mianus tries to clinch there but Mustafin circles away.
Mianus lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Mianus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mianus scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Mustafin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mustafin tries to pull guard but Mianus holds him up against the ropes and eventually Mustafin drops back down to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mianus pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mustafin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mustafin cracks Mianus with a big right hand but Mianus just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Mustafin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mustafin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mianus tries to avoid it but Mustafin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mianus to the ground. Mianus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mianus reaches up to try and control the position but Mustafin seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Mianus rolls and tries to escape and now Mustafin has his back!
Mianus looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Mustafin has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Mianus! Can he survive? No! He's out! Mustafin gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
