The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Gregson misses

and Cunnings counters with a takedown into side control.
Gregson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Gregson tries to buck Cunnings off but Cunnings is having none of it.

Cunnings decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gregson to his feet.

Gregson gets caught napping as Cunnings dives in and scores a takedown. Gregson manages to retain guard.

Gregson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cunnings defends it easily.

Cunnings avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cunnings got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gregson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cunnings has managed to get both his arms back between Gregson's legs - danger averted.

Gregson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Cunnings frees his head nicely. Oh but Gregson has switched to an armbar! Cunnings is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
