Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vanderley Sylva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Coughlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coughlan has chosen Infinite Mass-Enter The Dragon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Richard Coughlan enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Coughlan!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylva slips a jab and a cross from Coughlan.
A jab from Sylva does it's job there.

Coughlan closes the distance and clinches.
Coughlan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Sylva pushes off an throws an elbow but Coughlan leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Coughlan dodges an elbow strike from Sylva.
Sylva tries to land a knee to the head but Coughlan blocks with his arms.

Coughlan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Coughlan manages to end up in side control.

Coughlan lands a decent elbow from side control.

Coughlan decides to stand back up. Coughlan steps back and let's Sylva get back to his feet.
Sylva throws a combination that misses

and Coughlan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Coughlan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Coughlan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Coughlan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coughlan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sylva's head.

Coughlan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Nice takedown defense from Sylva. No joy for Coughlan on that attempt.
Coughlan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sylva defends it nicely.

and Sylva counters with a low kick, right behind Coughlan 's knee.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sylva tries to keep at a distance but Coughlan has taken the fight into the clinch.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Sylva looking to throw knees to the head but Coughlan is blocking nicely.

Coughlan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Coughlan is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sylva frees his head nicely. Oh but Coughlan has switched to an armbar! Sylva is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Richard Coughlan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
