Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guy Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Zabuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop. Ricky Zabuza is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Zabuza!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen wants to land a leg kick but Zabuza is out of range.
Owen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zabuza as he jumps to the side.
Zabuza dodges the punch combination from Owen.
Zabuza looks to land a combination but Owen avoids it well.

Zabuza moves into the clinch.
Zabuza scores with a shoulder strike.

Zabuza escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Owen has a takedown stuffed.
Owen throws an off balance right hand
and Zabuza counters with a straight right hand.

and Zabuza counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Owen's guard now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Owen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zabuza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zabuza seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Zabuza wants to take a breather but Owen is having none of it.

Zabuza got a little sloppy there for a moment and Owen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zabuza has managed to get both his arms back between Owen's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
