Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Inas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and West Rupp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inas's entrance music is Rage Against The Machine: Killing In The Name. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Inas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, West Rupp!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rupp shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inas as he jumps to the side.
Rupp with a poor takedown
and Inas counters with a left to the body.
Inas tests Rupp's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rupp loads up on a big right hand but Inas slips the punch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rupp is defended easily by Inas.
Oliver Inas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of West Rupp.
Inas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Inas tries to land a leg kick but Rupp saw it coming and moves away.
Rupp swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rupp throws a head kick that misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rupp is defended easily by Inas.
Inas lands with a nice combination. Rupp backs away looking to recover.

Rupp throws a body punch but Inas moves out of range.
Inas closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Rupp shoots for a double leg takedown but Inas sprawls well. He's pushed Rupp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Inas is looking to chop away at Rupp's legs.
Rupp misses with a two punch combination.
Inas lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rupp gets the takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Inas struggling a bit here.
Rupp is trying to get an arm triangle but Inas is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rupp goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Inas has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rupp but great work by Inas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rupp tries to bench press Inas off him but Inas keeps the position.
Inas trying to control the position but Rupp is working away.
Rupp is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Inas off and has taken his back!
Well, with Rupp on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Inas is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rupp seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Inas's chin but Inas turns very nicely into Rupp's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Inas.
Rupp wants to sweep here but Inas controlling him for the moment.

Rupp looking to control.
Inas trying to control the position from guard on top but Rupp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Inas is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Inas has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rupp is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Inas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rupp on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Oliver Inas.
Rupp looks for a takedown but Inas sprawls well.
Inas fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rupp is out of range.
Inas just misses with a punch to the body.
Rupp doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Inas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rupp dodges the punch combination from Inas.
Rupp throws a jab but it's blocked by Inas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rupp throws a poor cross that misses
and Inas counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Inas checks a low kick from Rupp.
Inas attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Inas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rupp doesn't seem bothered though.
Rupp fails with a takedown attempt.
Rupp takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Rupp on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rupp throws a shot from downtown. Inas moves away and avoids it.
Rupp shoots in for a takedown but Inas shows good takedown defense.
Inas fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rupp checks it well.

Rupp throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rupp pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rupp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Inas circles away quickly and effectively.
Inas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Rupp throws a predictable looking body shot
and Inas counters with an inside leg kick.
Rupp shoots in for a double leg but Inas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Oliver Inas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of West Rupp.
Nice sprawl there from Inas as Rupp shoots in.
Inas will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Oliver Inas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Inas walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rupp checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Inas leaves Rupp with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rupp shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Rupp is working for a guillotine from mount but Inas frees his head quite easily.
