Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Achilles Tycoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lee Jons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tycoon comes to the cage accompanied by The Theme from Magnum. Jons has chosen You hate clowns!!! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jons closes the distance and clinches.

Jons jumps guard and drags Tycoon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jons had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tycoon defends it easily.
Tycoon postures up in Jons's guard and throws a big left but Jons blocks it.
Tycoon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Achilles Tycoon.
Jons looks for a takedown but Tycoon sprawls well.
Achilles Tycoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jons shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tycoon as he jumps to the side.
Tycoon throws a nice looking combination but Jons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tycoon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tycoon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Jons is looking to regain half guard here but Tycoon keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tycoon tries for a kimura but Jons is defending well.
Tycoon tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Tycoon tries to move to mount but Jons blocks the move with his legs.

Jons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tycoon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tycoon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tycoon postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Tycoon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jons is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tycoon wants to control for a moment but Jons uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Tycoon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jons defending well though.

Tycoon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jons is just riding it out for now. Tycoon eventually gives up the hold.
Tycoon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jons keeps working.

Tycoon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jons sees it coming and defends easily.

Tycoon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jons is defending against the submission attempts here by Tycoon.

Tycoon is working for a kimura but Jons is defending it quite comfortably.
Tycoon takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Jons on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Johnny Lee Jons has been cut.
Tycoon throws a right hand that Jons ducks under and follows up with a left that Jons also avoids with ease.

Jons slips a jab and a cross from Tycoon.

Tycoon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jons was covering up waiting for the punch and Tycoon finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Tycoon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jons dives on top into guard.

Tycoon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jons is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tycoon.

Jons escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jons doesn't manage to clinch there - Tycoon circles away.

Tycoon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jons doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jons manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jons rolls with it to try and escape but Tycoon cranks on the arm and Jons is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
